What we love about Hillside
Quirky and contemporary, Hillside blends boutique chic with Scandinavian splendour to create a warm and welcoming hotel, which feels like a home from home. Original art adorns almost every wall and an ethos of serving fine food, much of which is local or homegrown, ensures your stay will satisfy all the senses. Nestled in acres of hilly landscape - with its own animals - and overlooking the Victorian town of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight’s south coast, thatched Hillside has served guests for more than 220 years. And if all that isn’t enough to tempt you, just wait until you see those panoramic sea views.
Why you'll love Hillside
A retreat for rest and relaxation, Hillside provides the perfect coastal getaway. Hold hands and make plans, spend time with the people you love. Go for a walk and take in the Isle of Wight’s stunning sights, cycle across its many winding paths, get out on the water or enjoy a game of golf - the choice is yours. If food is your forte, you’ll be right at home. The produce couldn’t be more local and menus are a carefully crafted combination of European favourites with a Scandinavian twist. With just 12 rooms and an apartment, Hillside specialises in providing the personal touch. Everything is designed with your comfort in mind and the team, which are just as charming as the place itself, strive to make your stay memorable.
